At many vacation destinations, you can pay more for a hotel room with a good view, or less for a hotel room with no view or a poor view. If possible, plan on arriving at your hotel in the middle of the week. Hotels usually offer more affordable rates mid-week. They may let you pay that same low rate through the weekend.
